Gov Oborevwori Encourages Swedish Investors to Consider Delta State

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has invited Swedish investors to explore the rich investment opportunities in the state, emphasizing its peaceful atmosphere, strategic location, and abundant natural resources.

The Governor made this appeal during a courtesy visit from the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Annika Hahn-England, and her delegation at the Government House in Asaba on Tuesday.

Highlighting the state’s vast crude oil and gas reserves, Governor Oborevwori assured potential investors of the favorable returns that await them in Delta.

“Delta State is recognized for its peacefulness and is one of Nigeria’s key producers of the crude oil that fuels the nation,” he remarked.

“We are open for business, offering a welcoming environment for investment.”

He further elaborated on the state’s accessibility, noting, “Delta State boasts three airports: Asaba International Cargo Airport, Osubi/Warri Airport, and Escravos Airport, which supports the coastal oil terminal.”
